Kocia ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌​​‌‌​​‌‌​​‌‌‌⁠Kawiarnia Kociarnia Lubicz is one of two Kraków cafes run by Kociarnia, which opened Poland's first cat cafe in June 2015. This branch opened in 2017 at ul. Lubicz 1, at the eastern edge of the Old Town opposite Galeria Krakowska and a few minutes on foot from Kraków Główny station. Visitors enter through a wooden wardrobe into several rooms fitted with climbing shelves, hammocks and scratching posts, where a permanent group of up to ten resident cats roams freely among the tables. There is no entry fee and no booking: guests walk in and order coffee, tea, cat-themed drinks and homemade cakes such as apple pie and cheesecake. Children are admitted from age 7, and staff ask to see a document confirming the child's age. Cats must not be picked up or woken. The cafe is linked to Fundacja Kocia Akademia, which rescues and rehomes cats.

Kraków, Malopolskie

Kocia ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌​‌‌​‌​‌​‌‌​​​​‌‌‌​‌⁠Kawiarnia Kociarnia Karmelicka is the second Kraków cafe of Kociarnia, the business behind Poland's first cat cafe, and opened in July 2023. It is on ul. Karmelicka 10, just west of the Planty park ring near the Teatr Bagatela tram stop. As at the Lubicz branch, guests step through a wardrobe door into a cosy cafe where a permanent group of up to ten resident cats, including a Maine Coon, wander between the tables and nap on shelves and laps. Entry is free, there are no reservations, and the menu has coffee, cat-themed drinks, waffles and homemade cakes. Children are welcome from age 7 with a document confirming their age. Since October 2026 it opens to walk-in guests only at weekends; on weekdays it hosts events such as painting with wine, embroidery workshops, cat behaviour talks, board game nights and cat yoga.

Zamość, Lubelskie

Kawiarnia ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​‌​​‌‌​​​‌‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌​​​‌​​​​​​⁠KOCI GAJ is a cat cafe on Spadek Street in Zamość, opened in July 2025 as the first cat cafe in the city. It is home to five resident cats. Its interior was designed by a former deputy director of the Zamość zoo: instead of wall shelves, the cats climb on imitation trees covered in natural bark, with oak branches running for tens of metres under the ceiling from a central trunk almost a metre wide. A 400-litre vivarium with an Amazon-style aquarium lets the cats sit inside a glass dome among about 180 fish. The cafe serves coffee, tea, home-made cakes and sweet or savoury snack boxes, and has a corner with board games and books. Entry is for children aged 12 and over, pets are not allowed, and tables can be reserved online. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday.

Warsaw, Mazowieckie

Miau ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​​​​​‌​​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌​​‌‌‌​​‌​​‌⁠Cafe is a cat cafe on Naruszewicza Street in Mokotów, Warsaw, right by the entrance to Wierzbno metro station on line M1. Opened in 2015 with crowdfunding, it was the first cat cafe in Warsaw. The cafe works as a foster home for cats from the foundations Serce dla Zwierząt and Profelis and the Kocia Oaza association, and the cats living there can be adopted. The premises are split into a bar area and a separate cat room; only visitors aged 13 and over may enter the cat room, while younger children can sit in the bar area. Ordering is self-service at the counter, and the menu includes coffee, cakes and vegetarian dishes. Tables are not reserved, so visitors wait in the bar area when the cat room is full. Guests are asked not to pick up or feed the cats.

Opole, Opolskie

Kocia ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌​​​‌‌‌‌​​​​​‌⁠Kawiarnia Niebieski Kot is a cat cafe on Marii Rodziewiczówny Street in central Opole, next door to branch 7 of the city's public library, with which it has run joint events. Founded by Anna Neugebauer, it opened in August 2022 on Powstańców Śląskich Street with four domestic cats and later moved to its current address. Around ten permanent resident cats live there, from rescued domestic cats to a cat taken from a Ukrainian backyard breeder and a pedigree Bengal, and the cafe is also a registered foster home that takes cats from the Opole municipal animal shelter, so at least one cat is usually up for adoption; 17 cats were adopted through it in 2024. Guests must be at least eight, keep noise down, not feed the cats and let them decide when to approach. Coffee, tea, lemonades and cakes are served.

Kocie ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌​​‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌​​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​‌‌⁠Cafe is a cat cafe on Warszawska Street in central Białystok, opened in March 2021 by owners Agata and Paweł. The cafe is a foster home for cats from the Kotkowo Foundation, and the cats living there are waiting for permanent homes; an adoption wall introduces the current residents, and more than 200 cats have been adopted through the cafe. The room is fitted with large scratching posts, climbing walls, hanging ropes, ceiling hideouts and window-sill beds. The menu covers coffee, tea, lemonades and home-baked cakes, with breakfasts served all day, brunches, burgers and fries, and the cafe also makes celebration cakes to order. Entry is for visitors aged 14 and over; 12- and 13-year-olds may come with an adult. The cafe hosts workshops and other events, and its owners also run the Kotiowo shop for cat accessories. It is open every day.

Kotka ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌‌​​‌‌‌​‌‌​‌‌‌‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌‌‌‌⁠Cafe is a cat cafe on ul. Ludwika Waryńskiego in the Wrzeszcz district of Gdańsk. It opened in May 2017 on the old market square in Oliwa and moved to Wrzeszcz in 2025. For almost nine years it worked as a foster home for cats from partner foundations and helped more than 550 cats find homes. After changes to Polish animal protection rules in March 2026, the cats living in the cafe are now the owners' own adopted cats, while the team still arranges adoptions of cats staying in private foster homes. The menu centres on coffee and homemade cake, with board games on hand. The cafe is for visitors aged 14 and over; children aged 10 to 14 can come with a phone reservation, and younger children only at weekend workshops run with a cat behaviourist. Cats may not be picked up or fed.

Torun, Kuyavian Pomeranian

Neko ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌⁠Cafe on ul. Chełmińska is the second and larger of the two Neko Cafe cat cafes in Toruń's medieval Old Town, a few minutes' walk from the Old Town Market Square. It works as an ordinary cafe whose residents are cats, among them pedigree cats such as a Bengal alongside mixed breeds. Guests sit among the cats, and wand toys are provided for playing with them. Orders are brought to the table by a cat-faced delivery robot, which the cats often follow. The menu has coffee, tea, bubble tea, paninis, cheesecakes and other homemade cakes. There is no entry fee and no reservation is needed, but visitors must be at least 10 years old, and guests may not bring their own cats. The same team runs the original branch on ul. Prosta and a third Neko Cafe in Inowrocław.

Neko ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌​​​​‌​‌​‌​​‌​​‌​‌‌‌⁠Cafe on ul. Prosta is the original Neko Cafe, a cat cafe in Toruń's medieval Old Town that first opened in 2019, a short walk from the Old Town Market Square. A group of resident cats lives in the cafe and moves freely between the tables, with wall walkways and shelves to climb. Visitors can play with them using the wand toys provided. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter and a delivery robot brings some orders to the table. The menu includes coffee, gingerbread coffee, teas, lemonades, paninis, panna cotta, apple pie, cheesecakes and other cakes. There is no entry fee and no reservation is needed. Entry is limited to visitors aged 10 and over, and guests may not bring their own cats. A second, larger branch is on ul. Chełmińska, and a third Neko Cafe opened in Inowrocław in 2026.

Biały ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌‌​‌​‌​​​‌​​‌‌‌‌​‌​​​​​‌‌‌⁠Kot (White Cat) is a cat cafe on ul. Władysława IV in central Gdynia, opposite the fire station. Opened in May 2017 by Mikołaj and Joanna Haczewski, it was the first cat cafe in the Tricity. It is a foster home for cats from the OTOZ Animals Ciapkowo shelter in Gdynia: the cats formally belong to the shelter, all of them are looking for permanent homes, and close to 200 have been adopted so far, with no adoption fee charged by the cafe. The menu has coffee from a local roastery, homemade cakes and themed drinks, and there are books and board games. Visitors should not pick up the cats or make sudden movements, as many come from difficult backgrounds. Children under 10 are not admitted, staff may ask for ID to confirm age, and visitors without an adult must be at least 13.

Wroclaw, Lower Silesian

Cat&Alice ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​​‌‌‌​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​‌⁠is a cat cafe on Igielna Street in Wrocław's Old Town, a short walk from the Market Square. Opened in 2023, it takes its name and look from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and its resident cats include several Sphynxes along with the cafe's host, a cat named Cheshire, and others such as Alice, Leon and Lusia. The cats have the run of the whole cafe and choose where to settle and when to come to guests, and staff ask that they are not picked up. Visitors pay a per-person entry charge on top of an order from the menu, which covers a stay of up to 90 minutes. Tables cannot be reserved, so at busy times guests wait for a free place. The menu includes speciality coffees, matcha, lemonades, waffles, cakes and breakfasts. A sister cafe of the same name operates in Kraków.

Purr ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌‌​​​​​‌‌​​​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​​​​​​‌‌‌‌⁠Purr is a cat cafe and Asian restaurant on Pokorna Street in Muranów, in the office district north of Warsaw's city centre. It was opened in 2021 by owners Kim and Piotr. The premises have two parts: a restaurant zone and a separate cat zone, which is open only to visitors aged 12 and over, with ages checked at the door. The resident cats include several pedigree breeds, among them Sphynx cats. The kitchen serves Japanese and Korean dishes such as onigiri, kimbap and ramen, plus breakfasts, desserts and matcha. Tables are not reserved for small groups, so guests may wait for a place in the cat zone when it is busy; groups of six or more can book, and the cafe hosts birthdays and private events. The cats have Mondays off, while the restaurant is open every day.
