The cafe is known for 3D latte art shaped like cats, offered for a small extra charge, and for French and Asian pastries such as lychee, taro, mango and pistachio cakes, red velvet and New York rolls, along with brunch dishes like croque madame. There is no entry fee and no booking: tables are given in order of arrival, and queues are common at weekends. The cafe is pet friendly as long as dogs get along with cats.

Cats come from rescuers, shelters and members of the public and are checked by vets before joining the group. Adoptions follow a strict screening process. The upper floor is a cat lounge with more than ten rescued cats, all from Bastet, a local organisation that rescues and treats abused and abandoned cats and runs the adoptions; anyone interested writes to Bastet with the cat's name. The ground floor has two cat-free rooms with power sockets and fast internet for visitors with allergies, groups or remote work. The menu covers home-style food, carrot cake, alfajores and merienda sets for two, along with specialty coffee, and there is an online shop for whole cakes and accessories. No reservation is needed and the cafe opens every day from morning to evening. It is run by partners Marti and Mati.

The cats are mostly rescued adults, many of them ill or with special needs, taken in directly or from shelters and other rescuers, and the cafe's income pays for their veterinary care, vaccinations and neutering. Cats can be adopted through a screening process. The menu is entirely vegetarian and vegan, with coffee, smoothies and cakes, and cat-shaped latte art. Every visitor must order something to enter, staff explain the house rules for interacting with the cats before you go in, and the cats have their own area they can retreat to. Children must be at least 8. The cafe opens Friday to Monday in the afternoon.
