Gatogasinos ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌‌​‌‌‌​​​‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌​​‌​‌⁠is Rosario's first cat cafe, opened in November 2022 by holistic therapist Cecilia Mansilla and moved in August 2026 from Barrio Abasto to a new home at San Juan 1633 in central Rosario. About eight cats rescued from the street live in the cafe, a number agreed with the city to suit the size of the space. The atmosphere is kept calm, with relaxing music and aromatherapy, and visitors are asked to respect the cats' rhythms. Instead of timed sessions, guests buy a set snack combination and stay with the cats while they eat. The cafe also offers art sessions in which visitors paint and pin their drawings to the wall, occasional morning events, and cat-themed items for sale. Visits are booked in advance through WhatsApp or Instagram, and the cafe opens in the late afternoon.

Café ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌​​​​‌‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌​​‌​⁠con Gatos, also known as Cat Café Buenos Aires, is a reservation-only cat cafe in a ground-floor flat with a garden around the corner from the Abasto Shopping centre in Balvanera, close to Carlos Gardel station on Subte line B. It opened in 2021, started by three friends who had worked as tour guides, and presents itself as the first cat cafe in Argentina. Eleven resident cats live in the house and are not up for adoption, though the cafe raises money for shelters and promotes their adoptions. Visits are one-hour sessions booked by Instagram message, Wednesday to Sunday in the morning and afternoon, and the entry fee includes a hot or cold drink, an award-winning artisanal alfajor and food for visitors to give the cats. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. The minimum age is 8, under-18s come with an adult, and there is a small cat-themed shop.

Nekofi ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​​​‌‌​​‌‌​‌‌‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​​⁠Cat Café is a specialty coffee shop and foster home for rescued cats in Buenos Aires' Barrio Chino, on the Mendoza pedestrian stretch in Belgrano near Barrancas de Belgrano station. The cafe serves coffee, pastries and Asian dishes such as onigiri, gyoza, takoyaki, ramen and Japanese cheesecake, while the cats live in a separate room with ramps, scratching posts and beds, reached through an intermediate space where visitors clean their hands. The cats are adult rescues waiting for new homes, and visitors can apply to adopt them. Entry to the cat room requires a purchase in the cafe and a separate fee, runs in short turns for small groups on weekdays only, outside public holidays, and is limited to visitors aged 12 and over. The cafe itself is open every day. Nekofi opened in 2023 and is run by Rafael Park and William Lu.

Petit ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​​‌‌​​‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌​​‌‌‌​‌​​​​‌​​‌⁠Chat is a specialty coffee shop and bakery in Palermo Hollywood, on Ángel Justiniano Carranza at the corner of Costa Rica, a few blocks from Ministro Carranza station. It opened in 2024 and is run by pastry chef Lucy Yang, whose own cats live on the premises and wander among the tables, with a cat house upstairs where they can retreat. The cafe is known for 3D latte art shaped like cats, offered for a small extra charge, and for French and Asian pastries such as lychee, taro, mango and pistachio cakes, red velvet and New York rolls, along with brunch dishes like croque madame. There is no entry fee and no booking: tables are given in order of arrival, and queues are common at weekends. The cafe is pet friendly as long as dogs get along with cats.
