Opening its doors in 2018 with the help of her friend Melanie, the café partners with Friends of Ollie rescue to give cats from kill shelters, abusive situations, and the streets a second chance at life. For $15 per hour, visitors can sip a complimentary coffee or tea while bonding with over 30 adoptable cats in a cozy, cage-free environment, where feline residents learn social skills to prepare for their forever homes. Driven by a passion to reduce shelter overcrowding, The Shabby Tabby blends a relaxing café experience with a powerful purpose, transforming fragile, broken cats into loving companions—one adoption at a time.
