Catnip Cat Cafe is a spacious, cage-free lounge offering 2,000 square feet for adoptable shelter cats to roam freely. Partnered with local rescues like Billy the Kidden Rescue and Feral Affairs Network, it houses cats that are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and ready for adoption, aiming to find them homes under the motto “Adopt, don’t shop!” Visitors can book reservations to spend time with the cats, with a complimentary beverage (coffee, tea, or water) included in the fee, and free Wi-Fi available. As the first cat cafe in Hampton Roads, it provides a relaxed environment for cat socialization and guest enjoyment, supplemented by an online store with cat-themed apparel and products.
