Cat Café MOFF Ario Kurashiki
Cat Café MOFF Ario Kurashiki is a chain cat cafe on the second floor of the Ario Kurashiki shopping mall, next to JR Kurashiki Station. It is home to about 23 cats of around 15 breeds, including Scottish Folds and American Shorthairs, and the cafe serves a full drink menu with latte art based on the resident cats. Visitors can watch the cats eat together at feeding time and buy food to feed them. Entry is charged per 30 minutes with one drink order, then in 10-minute increments, with a daily maximum that is higher at weekends. No booking is needed, children aged three and under enter free, and children of elementary school age and younger must come with a paying adult. There are also semi-private seating areas. The cafe follows the mall's opening days, with last entry 30 minutes before closing.

Around fifteen resident cats live in the cafe, and visitors spend time with them over coffee and simple drinks in a quiet, homely room. The cafe reopened after a renewal in July 2026 and now stays open into the evening, later on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before a public holiday. It is closed on Mondays, or on Tuesday when Monday is a holiday. Outside animals cannot be brought in. The same owner also runs Sanuki Neko in Utazu, Kagawa, which took over the premises of a cat cafe that closed at the end of 2025. Mikanneko works well as a quiet break from sightseeing in Kurashiki's canal district.
