Cat Cafe Mocha Okayama
Cat Cafe Mocha Okayama is a branch of the Mocha cat cafe chain on the fifth floor of AEON Mall Okayama in Shimoishii, Kita Ward, about five minutes on foot from JR Okayama Station. The cafe is a bright, open lounge with cat towers, shelves and sofas, home to a large group of mostly pedigree cats of many breeds. No reservation is needed: visits are charged for the first 30 minutes and then in 10-minute extensions, with an optional all-you-can-drink vending machine bar, and cat treats can be bought to feed the cats. Children aged 3 and over are welcome, and visitors under junior high school age must come with a guardian. Chasing the cats, picking them up and flash photography are not allowed. The cafe is open every day, following the mall's hours, which makes it an easy stop near the station.
