Ekoneko

Ekoneko is a foster-based cat cafe in Nerima, Tokyo, located just a one-minute walk from Nerima Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. The cafe operates as a satooya boshuugata, meaning the resident cats are rescues who were abandoned or lost their homes and are now seeking permanent families through the cafe's adoption program. Visitors can spend time with a rotating group of cats while enjoying free drinks during their stay. The cafe works in partnership with a local veterinary clinic and the Little Cats shelter to care for cats awaiting adoption. Socks are required inside the space, and children must be elementary school age or older. Reservations are recommended for groups of three or more. Donations support both the cafe cats and those recovering at the connected clinic upstairs.
