Soramame House
Mitoyo, Kagawa
Soramame House is a cat cafe in a renovated old farmhouse in Takase, Mitoyo, about 10 minutes by car from Chichibugahama beach. Visitors can book a contact room with about five rescued cats, charged per person per hour, or rent a private room shared with two cats for a little more, and the house also has a room for rescued cats looking for adoptive families. The tatami cafe room is open separately, with kotatsu tables in winter, a veranda where garden cats appear, a kids' corner and sweets for sale; the house cats Sora and Mame sometimes wander through. The menu is home-style cooking, led by nekomanma rice bowls topped with bonito flakes, plus toast sets, pasta and pancakes. There is also a cat goods corner and a small library. The cafe is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and last entry to the cat rooms is 5 PM.

Michael Neko Cafe
Kamiita, Tokushima
Michael Neko Cafe is a small rescue cat cafe in Sebe, Kamiita, in the Itano District of Tokushima, run by two sisters together with a cat boarding service. The cats were rescued from abandonment and abuse, and the cafe exists mainly to find them adoptive families, though visitors who simply want to spend time with cats are welcome. Visits are by reservation only, normally in the afternoon, and each booking has a room to itself so that groups do not mix. The charge is per person per hour, with 30-minute extensions when the room is free. Closing days are irregular, so it is best to call the day before; same-day bookings are possible when there is space. The owners also help care for dogs and cats from a hoarding case, and sell handmade charity goods to fund their work.

Hogo Neko Room Boron
Kitajima, Tokushima
Hogo Neko Room Boron is an adoption-focused rescue cat room in Tainohama, Kitajima, run by volunteers registered with the Tokushima Prefectural Animal Welfare Center. The volunteers take in cats and kittens from the center, many of them bottle-fed as newborns, care for them and match them with adoptive families. Visitors can come in to meet and play with a large group of cats, and the entry charge counts as a donation toward the cats' food and medical costs, so people who cannot adopt are also welcome. Reception is on the ground floor, with a small shop selling cat toys and goods, and the cat room is behind double doors. The room opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and on other days visits are possible by reservation when volunteers are available. It moved to its current building, next to Chuka Soba Tamura, in December 2024.

vivi hair salon × hogoneko
Yoshinogawa, Tokushima
vivi is a one-person hair salon in Kamojima, Yoshinogawa, with an adoption-focused rescue cat room attached. The cat room is fully separate from the salon, so salon customers with allergies are not affected, and visitors are welcome to use the cat room alone without booking a haircut; customers can also see the cats through a glass wall while they are in the chair. The cats are rescues looking for permanent homes, and several are listed for adoption at any time. Walk-in visits to the cat room are possible, though a message on Instagram before a first visit is recommended. Salon appointments are taken through Hot Pepper Beauty, Instagram or by phone. Cat Cafe RONRON
Matsuyama, Ehime
Cat Cafe RONRON describes itself as Matsuyama's first cat cafe. It is on the second floor of a building on the Okaido shopping arcade, next to the Cinema Sunshine Okaido cinema, about six minutes on foot from Okaido tram stop. The cafe has one large cat room with a sizeable group of cats, most of them pedigree breeds such as Maine Coons alongside other long- and short-haired cats, plus some young cats. Visits are charged by the hour with a drink included, and treats can be bought to feed the cats. Picking up or holding the cats is not allowed. The cafe is open every day, from midday on weekdays and from late morning on weekends and holidays, until the evening.
Cat Cafe Goronyago
Matsuyama, Ehime
Cat Cafe Goronyago is a rescue cat cafe on Heiwadori, on the north side of Matsuyama Castle hill, opened in July 2026 by a local house-clearing company that had often taken in cats its clients could no longer keep. All the cats are rescues, including former strays found sick on the street, and most are affectionate enough that two or three may settle on a visitor's lap at once; kittens under a year old play energetically, and guest cats sometimes stay. The small rooms were largely built by hand and are meant to feel like a relative's living room, with a large tree-like cat tower. Visits are charged per 30 minutes or per hour with one drink included, socks are required and can be bought at the door, and treats and cat goods are sold. A stamp card is available. It is closed on Mondays.
Cat Cafe noa
Matsuyama, Ehime
Cat Cafe noa is an adoption-focused rescue cat cafe in Tsujimachi, Matsuyama. Its cats were taken in from the public health center, where they faced euthanasia, or were rescued from abuse, and many arrived frightened of people. With visitors following the house rules, most have grown confident and affectionate, and around ten to twenty cats share the room. Staff explain how to approach the cats when you arrive, and the cafe suits people who want to sit quietly with cats rather than play with toys; longer sessions give shy cats time to come over. Visits are timed, with a drink included and optional snack sets. Opening days and hours change with the cats' health, so it is best to check the cafe's blog or Instagram, or phone, before going.
