hogoneko×cafe KATBOS

hogoneko×cafe KATBOS is a rescue cat cafe in Fukushima, Tokushima City, opened in 2021. All of its cats come from local rescue groups, mainly the nonprofit Awaneko Hoikuen, and the cafe looks for permanent adoptive homes for them. The cat room is charged in 15-minute steps, and the one- and two-hour plans include a drink; a weekday free-time plan includes two drinks. Up to six people can be in the cat room at once, socks are required, and children must be at least five, with elementary school children and younger accompanied by an adult. The adjoining cafe serves lunch plates such as fried chicken and pasta, scones and drinks, and guests with allergies can watch the cats through a window from there. The cafe is open every day except Wednesday, with lunch orders until 2:30 PM.
