Rescue Cat Room Milk is an adoption-focused cat room on Hondori in central Kure, opened in June 2023 by volunteers who rescue kittens and want to rehome as many as possible. Most of its residents are kittens and young cats, and visitors have counted more than 18 at a time, so laps fill up quickly. Visitors can come simply to play or to meet a cat with a view to adoption.
