Pucoconchi

Pucoconchi is an adoption-focused rescue cat cafe in Yahatamachi, Kokuraminami Ward, near Jono Station, with four free parking spaces. Its owner has rescued hundreds of cats over about 15 years, and the cafe now houses around 60 rescued cats. Visitors can meet the cats in the cafe before discussing adoption with staff, and the adoption fee covers vaccinations, testing and spay or neuter surgery. Entry is charged by time, from 30 minutes to two hours, with drinks, soft-serve and light meals ordered separately and cat treats sold on site. Reservations are not taken, so visitors simply walk in, and children under 10 cannot enter. There are afternoon sessions, plus evening sessions on Fridays, weekends and holidays, and closing days are irregular. The cafe also offers cat boarding and lifelong care for cats whose owners can no longer keep them.
