Neko Cafe Sachineko
Neko Cafe Sachineko is a cat cafe in Katanoshinmachi, Kokurakita Ward, about five minutes on foot from Jono Station. It opened in February 2025 on the ground floor of the Les Cinq Chats building and has a Japanese-modern, wood-toned interior, with a counter where guests can watch the cats and a separate cat room for five or six people. The cats include rescued cats, some of which are available for adoption, and the cafe holds adoption events. Staff ask visitors to let the cats approach at their own pace rather than picking them up. Time in the cat room is charged in blocks of 30 or 45 minutes and longer, and some plans combine a longer stay with food and a drink. The homemade quiche and apple pie are popular. Bookings can be made online. It is closed on Fridays plus a few irregular days each month.
