Hidamari-go Rescue Cat Cafe

Hidamari-go is a rescue cat cafe set inside a converted double-decker bus in Konomicho, Nishi Ward, Nagoya, about 6 minutes on foot from Shonai-dori Station and in front of the Konomicho city bus stop. Visitors check in and choose a drink on the lower deck, then spend time with the cats upstairs. Apart from a few resident staff cats, all the cats are rescues looking for new homes, and many were hand-raised from kittens by the owners, who also run a separate shelter with medical facilities for sick cats. Visits are charged by time with unlimited soft drinks, starting from a 30-minute trial, and canned beer and chuhai are sold. Children under 5 are not admitted. The cafe is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays and has two free parking spaces.
