Cat Cafes in Vietnam
There are 100 cat cafes in Vietnam.
KIMINO CAFE & TEA
Ho Chi Minh City
KIMINO CAFE & TEA is a Japanese-styled rooftop cat cafe on the fourth floor of 814 Nguyễn Kiệm in Hạnh Thông, in the former Gò Vấp district, near the foot of the Nguyễn Kiệm flyover and above a Japanese restaurant on the ground floor. There is no lift, and cats sometimes nap on the stairs. The resident cats are plump and long-haired; the cafe has spoken of nearly ten cats and a dog, but a visitor in April 2026 saw five or six, and reviewers in July and September 2026 found few cats about. Picking them up is not allowed. Two people spent about 200,000 VND in August 2026 on matcha and fresh juices. The rooftop looks out over the traffic and is free of smells, but a May 2026 visitor found it hot, with no fan or air conditioning. The cafe takes no reservations. A July 2026 review complained of a messy stairway with a soiled litter box. It opens daily from 5 PM to 10 PM.

Cafe Mèo passion house
Lang Giang, Bac Ninh
Cafe Mèo passion house is a small cat cafe at 72 Hố Cát street in Lạng Giang, which belonged to Bắc Giang province until the province merged into Bắc Ninh in July 2025. It has been taking in visitors since at least 2022, and reviews from then until June 2026 describe resident cats that are easygoing and approachable, though one visitor in March 2024 found them more interested in their food than in the guests. No ticket has been mentioned: guests order drinks and snacks, which reviewers rate well, and the owner gets warm mentions for being friendly and attentive. A visitor in June 2026 called it their favourite cafe, cosy in winter and cool in summer, with a warm atmosphere and helpful staff. It is a quiet, local place with only a handful of reviews, and Google gives no reliable opening hours, so it is worth phoning before a special trip.
theRainyCats
Hanoi
theRainyCats is a tiny cafe on the second floor of an old collective housing block in ngõ 65 Vạn Bảo, in Ngọc Hà ward in the former Ba Đình district of Hanoi, furnished like a cosy apartment living room with warm lighting, sofas, high tables, board games and comics. Two or three plump resident cats live there; a reviewer in February 2026 counted three and noted that it is a cafe with cats rather than a cat cafe, and visitors don't always see them all. Drinks cost 40,000 to 60,000 VND in August 2026, with fresh juices and artichoke tea recommended, and water is free. The cafe is hard to find: visitors park in the block's courtyard for about 10,000 VND, of which the cafe has covered 5,000, walk about 50 metres to house 14A and climb the stairs opposite, under a black-cat sign; the entrance is unlit at night. Seats are few, so it is worth calling ahead at weekends. It opens daily from 9 AM to 10 PM.

TIỆM MÈO HOA - Cà phê & Sách
Da Lat, Lam Dong
TIỆM MÈO HOA - Cà phê & Sách is a small cafe, reading corner and homestay in Hẻm 31 Sào Nam in Xuân Trường - Đà Lạt, opened at the end of October 2026 by two owners who describe themselves as lovers of cats, flowers and books. Its two resident British cats, Nắng and Bơ, sit by the flower-filled windows and are a big part of the appeal; reviewers describe Nắng as sleepy and Bơ as permanently grumpy-looking but sweet. There is no fee: drinks started at 30,000 VND in November 2026, cheaper than many Đà Lạt cafes according to reviewers, and the salt coffee, matcha and panna cotta get praise. Shelves hold many books in Vietnamese and English, there is a loft to sit in, and the airy, quiet space suits reading, writing and long conversations. The owners also rent out three small homestay rooms. Google lists no opening hours.
Check each cafe's website for current hours, booking requirements and age restrictions before visiting.
