Di An, Ho Chi Minh City
Mèo Lười Cat Cafe is a small, home-style cat cafe in a quiet alley at 17/19 Đường T2, beside the Vietnam National University campus where Thủ Đức meets Dĩ An, close to the university dormitories. A group of very affectionate cats, mostly Vietnamese domestic cats including an orange cat and a mischievous black-and-white one, rush to the door to greet visitors and settle on laps as soon as people sit down, and there is also an energetic resident dog. A visit is built around a self-serve drinks buffet with unlimited refills all day, and the cafe offers discounts, including student discounts on weekday daytime visits. The owners run the place themselves and are known for being friendly; the door is sometimes kept shut, so visitors may need to call the owner to be let in. It opens daily from 9 AM to 10 PM.

Entry is 90,000 VND per person, which includes one drink and one snack of your choice, with no time limit in the cat room. The menu covers coffee, tea and a selection of pastries, and the cafe does not sell cat treats, since the cats are already well fed. The room is bright, air-conditioned and kept clean and free of litter smells, with cat toys, a few books and small board games for guests to use. Staff are used to helping first-time visitors, including those who don't speak Vietnamese.

BoNé Petkery is a rescue cat cafe and bakery at 195/12 Bình Thới, in the former District 11 of Ho Chi Minh City. The house shelters dozens of cats that were abandoned, injured or sick, along with a few rescued dogs and a resident chicken. The ground floor belongs to the healthy, sociable cats, which readily settle on laps; an upper floor is kept for paralysed, three-legged and recovering cats, with low beds and mobility aids, and a third-floor home bar serves cocktails. There is no entry fee: guests order a drink or a dish such as cake, pasta or a sandwich and can stay as long as they like, with pillows and blankets for naps. The cats are vaccinated and seen by a vet regularly. Sales and a donation jar fund the cafe's Yakult rescue fund, cats can be adopted, and guests must be 12 or older.

TRẠM - Coffee Mèo & Boardgame
Thai Binh, Hung Yen
TRẠM - Coffee Mèo & Boardgame is a cat and board game cafe in a lane off Trần Khánh Dư in central Thái Bình, and it calls itself the first cat cafe in the city. A large group of resident cats lives in the house, from round, sleepy adults (an orange cat that naps all day is a regular favourite) to young kittens, and the staff keep cat toys on hand for guests to play with. Visitors order from a menu of coffee, tea and other drinks plus simple food, and can sit at the tables outside the entrance or in the room upstairs. Shelves of board games and books make it a spot for game nights with friends, and the cafe also pitches itself as a quiet place to study. It opens daily from morning until late evening and posts short videos of its cats on TikTok.
Tam Coc Pet Coffee
Ninh Binh
Tam Coc Pet Coffee is an animal cafe in the countryside of Đam Khê Trong, on the way to Thung Nắng a short ride west of Tam Cốc in Nam Hoa Lư, Ninh Bình. Its residents include cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, and a flock of ducks and ducklings, which are the best-known attraction: guests can feed the ducks and photograph them by the water, while the cats and dogs wander among the tables and come up to be petted. Visitors can order food and drink, or, according to a September 2026 review, pay 10,000 VND just to spend time with the animals. The menu covers Vietnamese dishes, coconut coffee and other coffees, mango and other smoothies, ice cream and sweet crepes. The open-air seating looks over the water, rice fields and limestone hills and draws families and foreign travellers at sunset.
MoonLight Coffee
Hai Phong
MoonLight Coffee is a cat cafe on the second floor of the Lane 24 complex, an old apartment block at 24B Phố Trạng Trình in Hồng Bàng, Hai Phong, by Tam Bạc market. The entrance is easy to miss because the ground floor is used for parking; upstairs is a small, quiet room in soft pink and yellow tones. About 15 cats live there, most of them plump and well groomed, among them a white British Longhair. Several are sleepy or aloof, so they are best approached gently. Visitors order a drink and pay a small cat play fee, 7,000 VND per person in 2026. The low-priced menu covers coffee, including coconut coffee, tea, milk tea and cocoa, and drinks can be made less sweet on request. An air purifier keeps the room fresh, and there are games to play at the tables.
HaLong Cat Coffee
Ha Long, Quang Ninh
HaLong Cat Coffee is a cat cafe in the Monbay townhouse development in the Hồng Hải area of Ha Long, with views towards the sea. It was billed as the first cat cafe in Ha Long when it opened around 2021. Roughly 20 cats share the room with customers, Ragdolls and Munchkins among them, and regulars know several by name, such as Podongi and Marumi. There is no entry ticket: visitors buy a drink and can then spend time with the cats, and packets of cat food are sold for feeding them. Some cats happily settle on laps and tables, while others keep their distance until food appears. The menu is mostly sweet teas, coffee and small snacks, with the most expensive coffee at about 39,000 VND in early 2026. The cafe is popular with families with children.
Miêu Mãn Lầu
Bac Ninh
Miêu Mãn Lầu (猫满楼, roughly "house full of cats") is a cat cafe on Đường Võ Cường 18 in Võ Cường ward, Bắc Ninh. The room is decorated in a Chinese style with plenty of artificial flowers, and a group of friendly, mostly chubby cats wanders between the seats, with a good supply of toys to play with. Some of the cats try to slip outside, so it is worth watching the door. Visitors order a drink, around 40,000 to 50,000 VND in 2026, and pay a cat play fee of 10,000 VND per person. The menu includes salted cream coffee, matcha latte and hojicha roasted rice tea with tapioca pearls, plus sunflower seeds and grilled potatoes and corn. The cafe has books to read and sells small souvenirs. Children are welcome to pet the cats, but they are easily frightened and should not be hugged or chased.
The Corgi - Hẻm Nhiều Báo
Hai Phong
The Corgi - Hẻm Nhiều Báo is a pet cafe and mini farm in an alley at 145 Phố Chợ Hàng in Lê Chân, Hai Phong, open since July 2025. It pairs a large garden cafe with indoor rooms for dogs and cats, including a separate cat room with kittens, and a collection of other animals: rabbits, guinea pigs, raccoons, capybaras, goats, a monkey, parrots, turtles and a fish pond. Entry is by ticket, which in 2026 cost 90,000 VND per adult including a drink, with cheaper tickets for children, and portions of animal food are sold for feeding. In the evening the farm animals are put away and only the dogs and cats remain, so daytime visits show the most. The drinks menu leans on fruit smoothies and yogurt drinks. It is aimed at families with small children, and parking is for motorbikes only.
Check each cafe's website for current hours, booking requirements and age restrictions before visiting.
