A group of very affectionate cats, mostly Vietnamese domestic cats including an orange cat and a mischievous black-and-white one, rush to the door to greet visitors and settle on laps as soon as people sit down, and there is also an energetic resident dog. A visit is built around a self-serve drinks buffet with unlimited refills all day, and the cafe offers discounts, including student discounts on weekday daytime visits. The owners run the place themselves and are known for being friendly; the door is sometimes kept shut, so visitors may need to call the owner to be let in. It opens daily from 9 AM to 10 PM.

A sizeable group of cats lives in the air-conditioned cat room, a much-loved orange cat among them, and they are used to curling up next to customers. Entry works by ordering from a menu of coffee, milk teas, other drinks and snacks, priced for a student crowd. The room is neatly decorated, with board games to borrow, and most visitors find it clean with little smell. Its Facebook page lists it as a pet store as well as a coffee shop.

Mèo Ơi - Monlèo và Bình yên is a rescue cat cafe at the entrance of alley 648 Kha Vạn Cân, in the former Linh Đông ward of Thủ Đức, Ho Chi Minh City. Almost all of its cats were once strays or accident victims rescued by the founder, Kim, who has rescued animals since 2016 and now cares for more than 20 cats, mostly friendly Vietnamese domestic cats, each with a name and a story. The cafe moved here from its first home on Sư Vạn Hạnh in District 10. A visit is paid by ticket, which includes an unlimited drinks buffet with milk tea among the favourites, and there are more than 30 board games. Several cats are up for adoption, and the cafe takes donations and volunteers. Children under 10 are not admitted. After a short closure it reopened on 10 October 2026 with a new format.

Catfe Estella is the eastern branch of CATFE, a Saigon cat cafe chain founded in 2016, on the ground floor at the left-hand corner of the Estella Place mall at 88 Song Hành, in the former District 2 of Thủ Đức, Ho Chi Minh City. The cat room is small and cosy and home to a large group of cats of many breeds, some playful and some content to doze on the sofas. Entry is 109,000 VND on weekdays and 119,000 VND at weekends, which includes a buffet of snacks and soft drinks and unlimited time during opening hours. Each cat wears a coloured collar showing its age group or any special care note, and staff explain the house rules: let the cats approach first, do not wake or chase them, and there is no need to pick them up. The branch shares its space with a Petemo pet shop.

WagWel Feline is the cat side of WagWel Rescue, a rescue cafe for dogs and cats at 24/2 Trần Ngọc Diện in Thảo Điền, in the former District 2 of Thủ Đức, Ho Chi Minh City. Run as a social enterprise with a paid team rather than as a donation-funded shelter, WagWel fosters up to about 50 rescued dogs and cats in a cage-free home, and every resident is available for adoption. The rescued cats have their own indoor area upstairs, kept separate from the dogs, and wear coloured collars that tell visitors how sociable each one is. Entry is 100,000 VND per person, and drinks, including vegan options, are bought separately. The site also has an outdoor yard and a dog swimming pool, and WagWel offers dog daycare, boarding, training, grooming and help with rehoming pets.
