Taoyuan City
突奌咖啡喵 is an Italian-style cafe with resident cats on Fuzhou Road in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, and one of the longest-running cat cafes in the area. Its cats have grown old with the cafe: they spend much of the day lounging and napping in their beds around the room, but they still keep guests company and are a gentle, low-key presence rather than an attraction to be chased. The spacious, carefully decorated dining room serves coffee and other drinks alongside pasta, lasagne, thin-crust pizza, risotto, chicken wings, waffles, crème brûlée and cakes. Visits are limited to two hours when busy, there is no service charge, and payment is cash only. Last orders are taken at 6 PM, and dishes may sell out earlier.

It makes a pleasant stop for hotel guests or anyone visiting the resort area, without a special trip into town. The menu offers coffee and other drinks, light meals, crispy fried snacks such as fries, desserts including soufflé pancakes and a few alcoholic drinks. Prices are similar to resort and scenic restaurants. Guests' dogs are allowed only in a pet stroller.

The drinks menu features estate coffee beans and high-mountain tea from Nantou, alongside waffles and other light bites. Staff are friendly and attentive to children and older visitors alike, and the cafe is a popular spot for birthday visits. It is closed on Tuesdays.

Shoes come off at the door, or you can wear the shoe covers provided. There is no time limit, with free Wi-Fi and power outlets, and a minimum spend of NT$120 per person. Children under 10 may touch the cats only with an adult, and noisy behaviour is discouraged. Healthy, leashed or carried cats and dogs are allowed.
