緬因之森Café
緬因之森Café (Maine Coon Forest Cafe) is a small, breeder-run cat cafe on Dasheng Street in Nantun District, Taichung, a few blocks from Gongyi Road. As the name suggests, the stars are big, gentle Maine Coons, joined by British Shorthairs, and the owners breed their own cats from selected bloodlines; a separate kitten room holds young cats offered for sale. Guests take off their shoes and change into slippers, and lids are provided to keep food covered from curious cats. There is a minimum spend of NT$300 per person and visits last 90 minutes. Seating is low and the room is compact, so booking ahead through Instagram or LINE is advised. The menu offers curry, tiramisu, mille crepe cake, pudding and coffee drinks.
