Cat 3/4
Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam Do
Cat 3/4 is a quiet rescue cat cafe on the eighth floor of the Metro Tower 2 building in the Naeoe-dong restaurant district of Gimhae. Its cat room, home to rescued and abandoned cats, is separate from a regular cafe area, so visitors can pay for the cat room, use only the cafe, or both. The cafe deliberately sells no cat treats, a rule the owner keeps to protect the cats' health and lifespan, and the cats, used to people, come over on their own when visitors sit quietly. The owner has a background in early childhood education and shows children how to treat animals with respect. Cats waiting for homes are adopted only to responsible people after spending time together. The cafe is closed on Tuesdays but opens on public holidays.
