Swim
Swim (Rest) is a small rural cat cafe and cyclists' rest stop in Namji-eup, Changnyeong-gun, about 150 metres past the Changnyeong Saenuri Senior Centre on the road from Namji towards Sinjeon. It sits on the Four Rivers cross-country cycling route along the Nakdong River, between the Changnyeong and Haman weirs, and began as a rest stop for cyclists before becoming a cat cafe to help cover the cost of feeding its 17 resident cats, all former street cats and abandoned cats. The owner describes a simple, homely space rather than a designed cafe, with a short menu and cats that are shy of being handled but happy to be watched quietly. Electric bicycles can be charged on site.
