Kocia Kawiarnia Kociarnia Lubicz
Kraków, Malopolskie
Kocia Kawiarnia Kociarnia Lubicz is one of two Kraków cafes run by Kociarnia, which opened Poland's first cat cafe in June 2015. This branch opened in 2017 at ul. Lubicz 1, at the eastern edge of the Old Town opposite Galeria Krakowska and a few minutes on foot from Kraków Główny station. Visitors enter through a wooden wardrobe into several rooms fitted with climbing shelves, hammocks and scratching posts, where a permanent group of up to ten resident cats roams freely among the tables. There is no entry fee and no booking: guests walk in and order coffee, tea, cat-themed drinks and homemade cakes such as apple pie and cheesecake. Children are admitted from age 7, and staff ask to see a document confirming the child's age. Cats must not be picked up or woken. The cafe is linked to Fundacja Kocia Akademia, which rescues and rehomes cats.

Kocia Kawiarnia Kociarnia Karmelicka
Kraków, Malopolskie
Kocia Kawiarnia Kociarnia Karmelicka is the second Kraków cafe of Kociarnia, the business behind Poland's first cat cafe, and opened in July 2023. It is on ul. Karmelicka 10, just west of the Planty park ring near the Teatr Bagatela tram stop. As at the Lubicz branch, guests step through a wardrobe door into a cosy cafe where a permanent group of up to ten resident cats, including a Maine Coon, wander between the tables and nap on shelves and laps. Entry is free, there are no reservations, and the menu has coffee, cat-themed drinks, waffles and homemade cakes. Children are welcome from age 7 with a document confirming their age. Since October 2026 it opens to walk-in guests only at weekends; on weekdays it hosts events such as painting with wine, embroidery workshops, cat behaviour talks, board game nights and cat yoga.

Cat&Alice
Kraków, Malopolskie
Cat&Alice is a cat cafe on ul. Podwale 3 in Kraków's Old Town, beside the Planty park ring and a few minutes' walk from the Main Market Square. Opened in 2025 as a sister cafe of Cat&Alice in Wrocław, it is home to a small group of unusual breeds: hairless Sphynx cats together with curly-coated Devon Rex and Cornish Rex cats, which wander freely around a compact room furnished with hanging swing seats. There is no separate charge for the cats; visitors order from a menu with a long list of coffees, matcha and matcha latte, lemonades, cakes, ice cream and sweet or savoury waffles, and breakfast sandwiches from the morning. Coffee is also sold to take away. The cafe is open every day from 10 AM, with later closing on Fridays and Saturdays, and is usually quieter than the larger cat cafes in the city.
Naked Beans
Nowy Sacz, Malopolskie
Naked Beans is a coffee shop with a Sphynx cat room on ul. Jagiellońska 17A, the pedestrian street in the centre of Nowy Sącz. It is the town's first cat cafe. A group of hairless Sphynx cats live in a cat zone behind a mesh partition, visible to passers-by through a large shop window, and guests pay a separate fee to go in and spend time with them. The cats are sociable and used to being stroked. The cafe serves speciality coffee, cakes and desserts, and also sells handmade clothes for cats and small dogs. It is open every day from midday to 6 PM.
Koci Świat
Zakopane, Malopolskie
Koci Świat is a paid cat room on Krupówki, the main pedestrian street of Zakopane. It is not a cafe: visitors buy an entry ticket and spend time in a single room with more than a dozen pedigree cats of several breeds, including Bengals, British Shorthairs and Maine Coons, which have hammocks, scratching posts, toys and hiding places. Staff explain which cats are happy to be stroked or held. Payment is in cash. The room is open daily from morning until late evening and is popular with families as a rainy-day attraction.
Check each cafe's website for current hours, booking requirements and age restrictions before visiting.
