Koci Świat
Koci Świat is a paid cat room on Krupówki, the main pedestrian street of Zakopane. It is not a cafe: visitors buy an entry ticket and spend time in a single room with more than a dozen pedigree cats of several breeds, including Bengals, British Shorthairs and Maine Coons, which have hammocks, scratching posts, toys and hiding places. Staff explain which cats are happy to be stroked or held. Payment is in cash. The room is open daily from morning until late evening and is popular with families as a rainy-day attraction.
