The cafe is home to friendly, well-groomed cats of several breeds, including Maine Coons and other fluffy longhairs, who roam freely around a calm, cosy lounge with comfortable sofas. There is no entrance fee: visitors simply order food or drinks, and cat snacks are provided for feeding. The house rules ask guests to keep things quiet and gentle, since this is a cafe rather than a playground and the cats feel safest in a peaceful space. The cafe describes itself as Muslim-friendly and family-friendly, and serves coffee, drinks and meals, making it an easy stop for families with children as well as students and workers looking to unwind.

Visits are by booked time slot only, which keeps the room calm and gives everyone plenty of time with the cats, so message the cafe before coming. Tables have plug points, which makes it a quiet spot for working, and there are books and games for families. The retail corner sells bright enamelware, including tiffin carriers, alongside the cafe.

MoonCat ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌​‌‌‌​​​​​​​‌‌​​‌‌​‌​​​​​‌​‌​‌‌⁠is a cat cafe and cat hotel at Damen Mall in USJ 1, Subang Jaya. The cafe takes up the first floor, where around ten friendly cats, mostly fluffy Ragdolls, roam a cosy lounge, and staff are happy to introduce each cat's personality. There is no entry fee: order at least one drink or dish and you can stay and play with the cats as long as you like, which makes it a popular spot for studying or working in feline company. The menu covers coffee, tea, juices, cakes and light meals. The upper floors hold the cat hotel, with boarding rooms for single and multi-cat families, plus self-service bathing and a grooming and spa service focused on coat care (no haircuts or shaving). Cats coming in for grooming need up-to-date vaccinations, and boarding is booked through WhatsApp.

Meow-suki! ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌‌​‌​​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​​‌‌‌⁠is a Muslim-owned cat lounge and cat hotel in Seksyen 18, Shah Alam, with a cosy anime-inspired lounge that is home to more than 20 resident cats. Entry costs RM10 per person, which includes a free drink and has no time limit, so it is a popular place to study, relax or unwind after work, and Wi-Fi is available. Cat treats cost RM2 and are the quickest way to win over house favourites such as Nero, who likes to sit on laps. Staff are on hand to show visitors the right way to handle and hold the cats, hands are sanitised before entering, and there is a free photo booth for souvenirs. Alongside the cafe, Meow-suki! runs a cat boarding hotel with air-conditioned, multi-level suites and daily photo updates for owners. Free street parking is available at weekends.

About 14 resident cats, including British Shorthairs, share the space and are active and sociable once they warm up. There is no entrance fee, minimum spend or time limit, but each guest is expected to order from the menu, and outside food and drink are not allowed. Visitors may play with and pet the cats but should not pick them up or carry them. Seating is low, with floor cushions available, and the cafe fills up quickly, so arriving early helps.

There is no entrance fee or minimum spend: order at least a drink and you can stay for up to 1.5 hours. Shoes come off and hands are sanitised at the entrance, and cat treats (RM5) guarantee a crowd of eager, well-socialised cats. The spotless space has a corner of card and board games, and the menu covers coffee, matcha, pasta, croquettes, croissants, croffles and cupcakes, with cakes baked by the owners' daughter. The cafe stays open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Families with young children should check before visiting, as entry for small kids may be restricted. Surian MRT station is about 1 km away.

Entry is free, though visitors are expected to order. The cafe serves espresso drinks, teas, lemonade and matcha with cakes, croffles and light meals such as lasagna, and sells indoor plants and terrariums. Its signature activity is terrarium making: DIY jars cost RM20 to RM80 per person and are available on a walk-in basis, or you can book a fully guided workshop for yourself or a group. The space also hosts monthly weekend markets, game nights, craft sessions and private events. Taman Hati began as a home-based terrarium business, opened in Bangsar in 2018 and moved to SS2 in 2022.
