This ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​​​‌​​‌‌‌‌​⁠branch of Mao de Lixiangguo, Changchun's oldest cat cafe brand, occupies two levels on the third floor of the Zhe You Shan indoor mall on Hongqi Street in Chaoyang District, where it opened in 2019. The founder has rescued stray animals since 2012 and none of the cats were bought: they come from rescues and surrenders, and some are available for adoption to adults with a stable home. Each cat wears a coloured collar: blue for cats that can be picked up, red for those that prefer to be left alone. Visitors disinfect their hands and put on shoe covers, and each person orders a drink. Children under 12 are not admitted at this branch, and weekends are busy enough that booking ahead helps.

The ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌​​‌​‌​​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌​​​​​‌‌‌⁠Qilehui branch of Mao de Lixiangguo is on the second floor of the Qilehui shopping plaza on Xuefu Street in Changchun's High-tech Zone. Like the rest of this rescue-based chain, its cats come from rescues and surrenders rather than breeders, and some of them are available for adoption. Ragdolls, Maine Coons and golden shaded cats live alongside rescued moggies, and a board on the wall introduces each cat by name and habits. Coloured collars show which cats are happy to be held. Visitors disinfect their hands and wear shoe covers, and a drink order lets them stay as long as they like.

The ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​​​​​‌‌​​​‌​​​​‌‌‌​‌‌​‌‌‌‌​‌​‌⁠Guilin Road shop is the original Mao de Lixiangguo, opened in 2014 as Changchun's first cat cafe, on the second floor of a building on Xikang Hutong near the Mudan Street coffee and arts quarter in the Guilin Road area. The founder started the cafe to change attitudes to stray animals, and the cats are rescues, surrenders and gifts rather than bought animals; some can be adopted. The room is smaller than at the newer branches, so the cats are close at hand. Visitors order a drink or buy a package that includes cat treats, and staff explain which cats like to be handled.

This ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​‌​​‌​​‌‌​​​​​​‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌​⁠Mao de Lixiangguo branch is on the second floor of the Kuancheng Wanda Plaza, a few minutes from Changchun railway station and reachable from Changchun North station on metro Lines 1 and 4. About 20 cats live here, among them Ragdolls, British Shorthairs and rescued tabbies, and the room has cat trees and a small cat house. As at the chain's other shops, the cats come from rescues and surrenders and some can be adopted. Visitors disinfect their hands and wear shoe covers, staff introduce the cats by name, and a drink order covers the visit. Coffee, milk tea and cakes are served.

Guo ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​‌‌‌​​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌​‌‌‌‌​​​‌​​‌​​​​⁠Mao is a cafe with resident cats on Jiayuan Road in the Changchun high-tech zone, near Guanggu Street and the Jilin University south campus area. Several cats of different breeds, including a large ginger cat, wander among the tables and are used to being stroked. The menu covers espresso drinks, Hong Kong-style milk tea, hot chocolate and light meals. The room is quiet and has plenty of power sockets, so it is also used for studying and working.

Mao ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​‌​​‌​​‌‌​‌​‌​​​​​​⁠Da Fu is a cat cafe in the corridor beside the cinema on the fourth floor of Wanda Plaza on Hongqi Street, in Chaoyang District, Changchun. Staff introduce each cat by name, and the resident cats include Exotic Shorthairs; a Shiba Inu also lives in the shop. Visitors pay an entry fee that includes a drink, with no time limit. Quieter weekday afternoons are the best time to visit.

Jia ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​‌‌‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌​⁠He is a small cat and dog cafe in a ground-floor flat of the Hongqiao residential compound on Xinzhu Road in northwest Changchun, near Wuyue Plaza. The coffee area opens straight onto the animal room, so cats and a few dogs move freely around the seats while visitors drink freshly made coffee. It is closed on Mondays.

Laohu ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌​‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌​​‌‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌​​‌‌‌⁠Bu Zai Jia (Tiger's Not Home) is a cat cafe in an apartment on the 28th floor of Building 3 of the Wanda Plaza complex at Hongqi Street and Tongde Road, in Changchun's Chaoyang District. The cats roam the flat and readily settle on tables beside visitors. Visits are by entry fee or set package with drinks.

Liulang ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌​‌​‌​‌​​​‌‌​‌​‌​‌‌​​⁠Mao Ka (Stray Cat Cafe) is a cat cafe in the Fudi Jingyue International shopping and residential complex on Boxue Road, in Changchun's Jingyue district. As the name says, its cats are rescued strays. The room is kept clean, with litter boxes out of sight, and visitors order drinks while the cats roam.
