Cat ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌​‌​​‌​​​‌‌‌‌‌​​‌‌​‌‌‌​​​​​‌‌⁠Cafe Athens is a cat café at Nileos 54 in Thissio, central Athens, about ten minutes on foot from Thiseio and Kerameikos metro stations and close to the Ancient Agora. Opened in autumn 2023 as the first cat café in Greece, it is run as a social enterprise and usually has around 15 to 20 rescued cats, which come from the Ilioupolis animal welfare union (ZEIL) and are all available for adoption; more than 190 cats have been rehomed through the café. Visits are by reservation only, last up to 90 minutes and carry a minimum spend per person, and only visitors aged 14 and over are admitted. Guests may not feed the cats, wake sleeping ones or bring toys or other pets. The menu covers coffee, tea, soft drinks, cakes and sandwiches, and the café also holds workshops and movie nights.

Athens, Attica

Laluk ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌‌​‌​​‌​​‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​‌​‌​​​‌​‌​​⁠is an all-day café and bar at Georgiou Olympiou 15 in Koukaki, Athens, a short walk from Syngrou-Fix metro station and the Acropolis Museum. It is not a dedicated cat café, but several resident cats live in the café and move freely among the tables, and they are a large part of its reputation as one of the most cat- and pet-friendly cafés in the city. There is no entry fee or booking for the cats; visitors simply order from a menu that runs from coffee, pancakes and brunch dishes to sandwiches, burgers, salads, beer, wine and cocktails. Dogs are also welcome. The café regularly hosts charity bazaars and gatherings for local animal welfare groups and has organised volunteer blood drives. It is open every day from early morning until late at night.

Kalamaki, Ionian Islands

Cat ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌​​​​​​‌‌‌​​​​​‌‌⁠Cafe Zepos Garden is a cat café in the resort village of Kalamaki on Zakynthos, close to the beach on Laganas Bay and a few minutes from the island's airport. It opened in June 2025 on the site of the owners' former Zepos restaurant and was the first cat café on the island. Around ten rescued island cats live in a fenced catio in the garden, which visitors can enter to play with them, while a few resident cats roam the outdoor seating. The rescued cats are neutered and treated and available for adoption, and the owners have arranged dozens of adoptions. No booking is needed, and a small minimum spend applies for time in the catio. The menu ranges from coffee, milkshakes and cat-themed cocktails to pancakes, pizza, gyros, salads and vegan dishes, and the café also hosts cat yoga and evening events. It is closed on Wednesdays.

Soroni, South Aegean

Cat ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌​​​‌​‌​​​‌​​​​​‌​​‌‌​‌​​​‌‌⁠Cafe Rhodes is a cat café in the village of Soroni on the west coast of Rhodes, beside the main Rhodes-Kamiros road. Founded by Ilse Füger and Tobias Rene Emrich, it opened officially in May 2026 as the first cat café in the Dodecanese. About ten former strays from local animal welfare groups live there until they are adopted, and the café arranges vaccinations, microchips and pet passports so that cats can also travel to adopters abroad. Guests sit in the café or on the terrace and can spend up to 90 minutes with the cats in a separate catio, with a minimum spend per person. Tables are reserved online, and walk-ins are welcome when there is space. The menu covers coffee, cocktails, waffles, fruit salads and vegetarian and vegan dishes, and events include cat yoga and movie evenings. It is closed on Mondays.

Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia

Little ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​​​​​‌‌‌‌‌‌​​​​‌‌​‌​​‌​⁠Big House is a café and small guesthouse at Andokidou 24 in Ano Poli, the old upper town of Thessaloniki, on the way down from the Heptapyrgion fortress and the Byzantine walls. It is best known locally for its cats: a group of neighbourhood cats eat, sleep and spend their days at the café, sitting among the guests, and the owner has them neutered and looks for homes for them. There is no entry fee or booking; service is largely self-service from a menu of coffee, cheesecakes and other homemade cakes, salads and quiches, with many vegetarian and vegan dishes. The roof terrace looks out over the old town's rooftops. The café is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
