Cat Cafe Skopje is the city's first cat café, opened in June 2026 in the Rekord area of central Skopje, a short walk from Macedonia Square and the Stone Bridge, behind a pink façade. Nina's Cat Cafe is a small rescue cat cafe in central Tirana, on Rruga Vangjush Furxhi just off Rruga Myslym Shyri, a short walk from the Blloku area. Described as the first cat cafe in Albania, it works like an ordinary neighbourhood coffee bar, except that the room is shared with cats rescued from the city's streets. Each cat is checked and treated by a vet before moving in and stays until it is adopted, and the cafe follows up with the new owners afterwards. The space is small, so it usually keeps around five to seven cats, and never more than about ten. Mola Coffee House is a small neighbourhood coffee and cookie shop on Cengiz Kocatoros Sokağı in Bostanlı, Karşıyaka, about ten minutes on foot from the Bostanlı seafront and ferry pier. Long established in the area, it is known locally as Bostanlı's cafe with cats: four resident cats live in the shop and wander freely around the tables and counter, and they are used to being petted by guests. There is no entry fee or separate cat room; visitors simply order at the counter. The menu centres on espresso drinks and filter coffee brewed to order, homemade cookies, toasted sandwiches, desserts, smoothies and, in summer, homemade lemonade.
