Gato Preto Cat Café e Restaurante
Londrina, Paraná
Gato Preto Cat Café e Restaurante is a cat cafe and restaurant on Rua Espírito Santo in the centre of Londrina, the first cat cafe in the city. It is run by Mariani Vaz Domingues, a veterinarian who specialises in feline medicine, and is a temporary home for rescued cats waiting for adoption. Café Entre Gatos
Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul
Café Entre Gatos is a cat cafe in Porto Alegre's Zona Sul, on Avenida Copacabana in Vila Assunção, on the side street next to Shopping Paseo near Tristeza. It opened in July 2025 as the first cat cafe in the South Zone and raises money for Projeto Acolha Gatinhos, a volunteer rescue project that has placed more than 400 cats since 2020. The rescued cats are neutered, vaccinated and available for adoption after an assessment. The cafe and the cat area are separate. For a small entry fee, visitors go into an indoor cat room that opens onto a screened outdoor patio. No booking is needed and there is no fixed time limit. Flash photos and outside pets are not allowed, and children must come with an adult. The menu has specialty coffee, cakes, medialunas and cat-shaped toast, and a small shop sells cat-themed items.

Cafémiau Cat Café
Sao Luis, Maranhao
Cafémiau, also known as Café Miau, is the first cat cafe in São Luís, located in the annex of the Galeria Appiani on Rua Tiracambu in Calhau. The cafe has a cat-themed interior and menu, and the cats live in a separate room that visitors can enter for a short timed session for a small fee, which goes to the cats' care. The cats are rescued and dewormed, and they are looked after by a local rescuer who also handles adoptions: anyone who wants to take one home makes contact through the cafe and goes through an interview. The kitchen serves coffees, teas, savoury dishes and desserts, with vegan and lactose-free options. Cafémiau runs regular painting workshops and has held fundraising days for local animal charities. The cats are available for responsible adoption through CASA MIA's process. On weekdays orders are placed at the counter. The cat room also serves as a showroom for the Ferpa cat furniture brand. Mi&Mo Gato Café

Mi&Mo Gato Café is a specialty coffee shop with adoptable cats in a renovated 1944 house in Paraíso, São Paulo, near Sesc Avenida Paulista and a short walk from Paraíso and Brigadeiro Metrô stations. The cafe occupies two floors and brews coffee by several methods, including a filter coffee with refills, alongside matcha drinks, pão de queijo, carrot cake, savoury tarts and other homemade snacks. The cats live in an open-air patio on the lower level, the pátio dos gatos, which visitors enter for a paid 30-minute session in small groups; last entry is at 5:30 PM. The cats come from the rescue group Enquanto Houver Chance and are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and available for adoption through an application form. The cafe also runs barista and painting workshops, and offers partner companies discounts for their staff.

My Cat Café Cascavel is a cat cafe on Avenida Toledo in the centre of Cascavel, opened in July 2024 as the first franchise of My Cat Café, a cat cafe chain based in Ribeirão Preto. Rescued cats live in a lounge next to the cafe while they wait for new homes, and visitors buy entry to the lounge in 15-minute sessions. Adoption starts with an online application form, and a separate form lets people offer cats to the cafe. The menu has espresso drinks with cat-face latte art, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, cakes and savoury snacks. The cafe can also be booked for private events. It is closed on Mondays and opens earlier on Saturdays and Sundays.

Miatto Café
Bento Goncalves, Rio Grande do Sul
Miatto Café is a cat cafe on Rua General Gomes Carneiro in the centre of Bento Gonçalves, in the Serra Gaúcha wine region. It opened in late 2024 as the region's first cat cafe. From early morning it serves specialty coffee, iced drinks, hot chocolate, cakes, pies and savoury snacks such as coxinhas, in a cat-themed room with cat books and decor. The cats live in a separate area called Gatolândia, and the entry fee goes toward their care. The cafe runs a responsible adoption project that has rehomed more than 170 cats. At times every adoptable cat has been placed and only the cafe's own resident cats are there. Visitors can also sponsor a cat. Miatto holds themed events and workshops, such as watercolour afternoons and a book club, and pets are welcome in the cafe area. It is closed on Mondays.

Gatinhos Café
Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul
Gatinhos Café is a cat cafe in a converted house on Rua Domingos José de Almeida, a quiet residential street in Rio Branco, Porto Alegre. Opened in August 2023, it serves cakes, pies, sandwiches, frappés and coffee, many shaped or decorated like cats, with plenty of vegan options. The cats live in Casa dos Gatinhos, a glass-walled room that usually holds 15 to 20 rescued cats, visible from the tables. All of them come from the ONG Vem Adotar, run by animal protector Deise Falci, and are tested, treated and quarantined before they arrive. Entry to the cat room is charged per person for a 10-minute visit, and the fee pays for food, litter and weekly vet visits. Adoption needs an application form and photos showing safety screens on every window. Two mascots, Gatuxa and Gatuxo, live at the cafe for good. The cafe is pet-friendly and closed on Mondays.

Miau Lovers Gato & Café is a rescue cat cafe on Avenida Umberto Calderaro in Adrianópolis, Manaus. Opened in 2023 as the first cat cafe in Manaus, it started out in the Vieiralves area before moving to its current address. The cats are rescued from the streets of Manaus with the help of independent rescuers and a local animal welfare group, and they live in a cat room where visitors can play with them while they wait for new homes. Every cat is neutered, vaccinated and tested before adoption, and adopters fill in a form, have an interview and agree to a home check, with homes required to have screened windows. The cafe serves coffee and afternoon snacks such as tapioca, crepioca and savory pastries, with vegan options, and has a cat-themed shop, a small library and a play area for children. Visitors cannot bring their own cats.

Amai Cat Café is a cat cafe on Rua Coronel Bento Pires in central Tatuí, in the Sorocaba region of São Paulo state. The ground floor is a garden-style cafe serving coffee, tea, breakfast items, savory pies and desserts, with wheelchair-accessible entry. Upstairs is the cat area, where the cafe rescues cats, cares for them and prepares them for responsible adoption, and resident cats also live on site.
