Café Entre Gatos

Café Entre Gatos is the first cat cafe in the Zona Sul (South Zone) of Porto Alegre, Brazil, which opened in July 2025. The cafe operates in partnership with the volunteer project Acolha Gatinhos, which has been responsible for over 400 cat adoptions since 2020. Around 30 cats have been adapted to the cafe environment and are available for interaction and adoption. Visitors can enjoy cappuccinos, lattes, cheesecake, and the signature alfrajola (an alfajor shaped like a cat) while spending time with the feline residents. The cafe is open Tuesday through Sunday, 2pm to 7pm, and also functions as a work-friendly space.
