The Cat Cafe
The Cat Cafe is Singapore's longest-running cat cafe, open since 2014 on the third floor of a shophouse on Victoria Street in Bugis, about two minutes on foot from Exit C of Bugis MRT. There is no lift. It is home to 13 resident cats, all former strays adopted from local shelters, ranging from young cats to seniors who have lived at the cafe since it opened. The cats are permanent residents and are not offered for adoption. Entry is charged per two-hour visit and includes a canned drink, with day passes also available, and the counter serves coffee, tea, hot meals, pastries and desserts. Visitors of all ages are welcome, and children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. The cafe also runs art jamming sessions with the cats and hosts birthdays, proposals and small solemnisations. Its second outlet at The Rail Mall closed in 2026.
