Catopia
Catopia is a cat art jamming studio, cat hotel and cat gift shop on the upper floor of a shophouse on Dunlop Street in Little India, a short walk from Rochor and Jalan Besar MRT stations. About ten resident cats share the space, led by Jasper, a domestic cat rescued as a kitten and adopted at a shelter adoption drive, along with cats such as Fuma, Bruno, Momo and the Bengal Wicca. Visits are booked as art jamming workshops, including acrylic painting and cat sculpture painting, with a drink included, and the cats wander among the guests or doze while they paint. Socks are required, perfume is discouraged, and guests should arrive a few minutes early because late arrivals may lose their slot. Children must be at least seven, and those under 12 need an adult. Catopia also offers boarding for visitors' own cats and sells cat-themed merchandise.
