Meow Meow Wonder
Meow Meow Wonder is a pet shop and cat cafe on Jalan Besar, opposite Jalan Besar MRT, that sells pedigree kittens and runs a paid play lounge with its resident cats. The cats include breeds such as British Shorthairs and Longhairs, Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Persians, Siberians and Munchkins, and staff run play sessions with feather wands, toys and climbing structures, so the cats tend to be active and approach visitors. Entry is charged per person by the hour, with a shorter 20-minute trial session, and includes a drink. Children are welcome when an adult supervises them throughout. Walk-ins are accepted, and booking a time slot ahead is recommended, especially in the evening. The owners also give advice to visitors thinking of getting a cat. Kittens for sale are shown separately in the shop, and the business is open every day.
