Paws and Claws Refuge and Boarding Centre
Paws and Claws Refuge and Boarding Centre is a non-profit, no-kill dog and cat shelter on Teamsters Close in Craiglie, just south of Port Douglas off the Captain Cook Highway. Its cattery has a large air-conditioned indoor room with climbing frames, toys and beds, plus an outdoor area, and the cats living there are rescues from the Douglas Shire waiting for new homes.
