Nyanko House
Nyanko House is a rescue cat cafe in Shimosakiyama on Fukue Island in the Goto Islands, about 15 minutes by car from Fukue Airport, and the first cat cafe in Goto. The sea-view cafe serves lunches made mostly with Goto ingredients, and the cat room is fully separate from the dining area, with visits charged per 30 or 60 minutes, the longer visit including a drink. The cats are rescues, and the owner runs an adoption event on the second Sunday of each month and arranges individual meetings with cats on weekdays by request. The cats are in only during the daytime session, which runs from late morning to mid-afternoon; an evening session with irregular days serves drinks only, without cats or alcohol. It is closed on Fridays and the first Thursday of each month, and payment is cash only.
