Cafe Kujukushima Neko no Sato

Cafe Kujukushima Neko no Sato is an adoption-focused rescue cat cafe in Kojimacho, Sasebo, in front of the Higashi-Kojimacho bus stop and about nine minutes by car from Sasebo-Chuo Station. It is run by the Kujukushima Neko no Sato association, which also operates a pet cremation service, to fund its rescue work. The cat room is fully separate from the cafe, which serves drip coffee, tea and juices and can be used on its own. Visits to the cat room last 60 minutes and are paid as a fixed donation per person, children included; drinks are extra; the room takes up to three groups or six people at once, so visitors may have to wait. Kittens and adult rescue cats are available for adoption after an interview and a home check. The cafe is open every day except over the New Year holidays, and there is parking for four cars.
