Neko to Issho Rescue Cat Adoption Center

Neko to Issho is a rescue cat adoption centre run by the general incorporated association necoto on the sixth floor of an office building in Kamihatchobori, central Hiroshima, a short walk from the Hatchobori and Kamiyacho areas. Around twenty cats, from three-month-old kittens to adults, wait here for new families, and visitors can drop in to meet them without booking on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. On Saturdays the centre opens only when it holds its adoption event, and Sunday mornings are by reservation. It closes on Thursdays and public holidays. The centre is aimed at people thinking about adopting or wanting to support rescue work, and staff can arrange individual meetings with a particular cat. Preschool children, pregnant visitors and people with cat allergies are not admitted, and outside food and drink are not allowed. Cat goods made by the association are sold to fund its work.
