Neko Garden
Neko Garden is an adoption-type rescue cat cafe on the second floor of Dog Garden Aomori, a dog cafe and pet goods shop in Matsubara, Aomori. It opened in October 2024 and is run by the head of Hogo Neko House Kokoro, a local rescue group, which socialises the cats before they move to the cafe to meet potential adopters. There are usually about ten cats, a mix of adult cats and kittens. Visits are charged per 30 minutes, per hour or for free time, paid on leaving, with a cheaper rate when ordering from the cafe; elementary school children and younger enter free with a guardian. The ground-floor cafe serves lunch dishes, pancakes and drinks, and dogs are welcome downstairs. The cat room is closed on Wednesdays. There is free parking.

A married couple opened it in October 2018 in a house where the cat room and a corner selling handmade goods are kept separate.
