Rescue Cat Home & Cafe Necolabo

Necolabo is an adoption-focused rescue cat cafe in Nihongicho, Anjo, about 15 minutes on foot from JR Mikawa-Anjo Station. It works on local cat problems, taking in cats from multi-cat hoarding cases, retired breeders and owners who can no longer keep them, socialising former outdoor cats and matching them with new families. The cat room spans two floors with an open ceiling, stairs and catwalks, and the cats are known for being friendly and settling on laps. Visits are charged by the hour with free drinks, at a higher rate on weekends, holidays and busy periods, and a paid feeding option is available. Children under school age cannot enter the cat area, and under-16s must come with a guardian. Kittens are shown only to people considering adoption. Booking is recommended on weekends. The cafe is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and last entry is 5 PM.
