Mačacia planéta
Mačacia planéta is an adoption cat cafe on T. G. Masaryka Street in the centre of Zvolen, run by volunteers of the civic association of the same name. The association rescues cats from the streets and uses the cafe as both a small shelter and a visiting room: around ten cats live in a spacious room furnished with climbing frames, beds and plenty of seating, and all of them are looking for new homes. There is no fixed price for entry or drinks; visitors pay a voluntary contribution for coffee, lemonades and other refreshments, and donations of wet cat food and litter are welcome. The association took over the premises from the earlier Labka cat cafe. Visitors come to meet friends, read or simply sit with the cats, and school groups are welcome.

Cats&Coffee
Banska Bystrica11 mi / 18 km
Cats&Coffee is a cat cafe on Dolná Street in the pedestrian centre of Banská Bystrica, set back in a small passage off the street; guests ring the bell and staff open the door so the cats cannot slip out. The cafe reopened under its current name in June 2025, in premises that earlier housed the city's first cat club, and it focuses on rescuing cats: every cat living there is available for adoption, and the cafe hosts talks on cat rescue and care. Visitors can order coffee, lemonades and cakes in a cosy room with armchairs and a fireplace. Staff ask guests not to pick up the cats or move them from their resting places, and to let the cats come to them. Children are admitted from age seven with a parent, and payment is in cash only.

The cafe serves coffee, hot chocolate, tea, wine and homemade cakes and desserts baked by the family, and there is no fixed price list: guests pay a voluntary amount.
