The Lotus Catfe was a cat lounge and yoga studio on Highway 119 in Alabaster, Alabama. Skye Vaillancourt founded it with Ginger Cat Rescue, and it opened on April 15, 2023. The cat room and the yoga classes ran in separate rooms at separate times: visitors paid to spend time with adoptable cats in the lounge, and yoga classes cost $10 each, with cat yoga among them. A small shop sold books, crystals and tarot cards. More than 130 rescue cats were adopted through the lounge. It had to leave its space when its lease was not renewed and closed on August 31, 2026, with adoption fees cut to $25 in its final weeks.
