Kotoburo

Kotoburo is a cat cafe and coworking space on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Ulitsa in Moscow's Presnensky district, between Mayakovskaya and Barrikadnaya metro stations, entered through a glass door from the courtyard. It is run by the Urban Animal Protection Foundation, which rescues cats from buildings due for demolition, reconstruction or redevelopment, and works as an open shelter where visitors can meet the cats, all of them looking for homes, and apply to adopt. Visitors pay for their time, with tea, coffee and biscuits included, and the space is divided into areas for working and for relaxing. On weekdays it is mainly a quiet space for adults, while weekends are more family-oriented. Friday evening film screenings are held by registration, and on those days the closing time can change, so calling ahead is advised.
