Neko no Ajito
Ayagawa, Kagawa22 mi / 36 km
Neko no Ajito is a rescue cat cafe in Sue, Ayagawa, a few minutes by car from AEON Mall Ayagawa. It opened at the end of July 2026 in a converted former massage shop, taking in the cats of necobokko CAFE in Tadotsu, which closed that March, and its name means "the cats' hideout". The cat area is divided into small semi-private rooms with a playful, ship-like interior. Time with the cats is charged per 30 minutes, and there is a discounted free-time option on weekdays. Preschool children can visit in a private room that families book for themselves. The cafe side serves a small daily lunch of home-style obanzai dishes and freshly ground coffee, and there are seats where guests can eat and watch the cats without entering the cat area, so food-only visits are welcome. The cats are up for adoption. The cafe is closed on Tuesdays.
