Fureai Animal Cafe fuu
Fureai Animal Cafe fuu is a multi-animal petting cafe in Sumiyoshi, Suzuka, run by Wan's Life, a local company that also sells puppies and offers grooming and pet boarding. The ground floor holds capybaras, flamingos, ducks and bantams, the upstairs rooms have cats, owls and rabbits, and goats live outside; parakeets and a kinkajou are also part of the collection. Visitors can stroke and play with the cats and other animals, and feeding the animals is available for an extra charge. Despite the name it is more of a small indoor zoo than a cafe, with drinks limited to bottled or canned options. The floors can get dirty, so practical clothes and shoes are advisable. It is open every day, from late morning at weekends and on holidays. By public transport, take a bus from Kintetsu Hiratacho Station to the Higashi-Sumiyoshi stop.
