Diorama Shokudo
Diorama Shokudo is a rescue cat cafe and shelter in Teradacho, Tennoji Ward, about two to three minutes on foot from the north exit of JR Teradacho Station on the Osaka Loop Line. It began as a railway-themed diner built around a model railway diorama and took in its first cats around 2020. Rescued cats and kittens now roam through the miniature railway scenery and a low-ceilinged loft upstairs. Since 1 August 2026 regular meal service has ended and visits are charged by the hour with one drink included; there is a one-hour break in mid-afternoon. Reservations are recommended. The cafe works with rescue groups across Japan and treats every day as an adoption day; adoption involves screening, and cats are not handed over on the day of the first visit. It is open every day, staff can help in English, and the cafe is not wheelchair accessible.
