Alleycats & Aristocats
Alleycats & Aristocats is a volunteer-run cat rescue and adoption center on East Smith Road in Medina, in the space that was once home to the Cats Off the Square cat cafe. Its rescue location is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, when visitors can meet and spend time with the adoptable cats and kittens, browse a gift area of items for cat lovers and order custom engraving for gifts and pet tags. Entry is free, and donations support the cats. The nonprofit takes in strays and cats that need rehoming, works with trap-neuter-return groups to place friendly cats from feral colonies, and also finds homes for retired purebred cats from breeders. Cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. Adoption applications can be submitted online, and the rescue also hosts educational events on responsible pet care.
