Rescue Cat Cafe Catio

Rescue Cat Cafe Catio is a small cat shelter cafe tucked into the Tomigaya neighborhood of Shibuya, Tokyo, just a short walk from Yoyogi-Hachiman Station and the greenery of Yoyogi Park. The space is intentionally calm and intimate, giving both the cats and their human guests room to relax and get acquainted at an easy pace. Catio's mission centers on finding new families for rescued cats, including those saved from multi-cat hoarding situations and abandonment. The resident cats are friendly adult cats, generally between one and eight years old, and all have been health-checked and lovingly cared for. Visitors who feel a connection with a particular cat are welcome to speak with staff about the adoption process, which includes an application and home screening. Reservations are requested in advance, and a drink and cat treats are included with your visit.
