Cat Cafe MOCHA Harajuku is a branch of the MOCHA cat cafe chain on the fourth floor of Cross Avenue Harajuku in Jingumae 1-chome, directly opposite JR Harajuku Station; the building has a Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore on the ground floor. About 20 pedigree cats live here, and they are fed at 10:30 AM and 7 PM. No reservations are taken. Visits are charged per 10 minutes, ¥330 on weekdays and ¥440 at weekends and on holidays, with a daily cap of ¥3,960 or ¥4,620 (tax included). Children aged 3 and over are admitted, and children below junior-high age must come with a guardian, up to three per adult. It is open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM (last entry 8:30 PM). There is a drink bar, outside drinks are allowed but outside food is not, and no meals are served. Treats can be bought to give the cats, and visitors are asked not to chase or pick up the cats or use flash.
