貓咪摸摸茶 Cat Patting House is a small cat lounge on the eighth floor of an office building on Linsen North Road in Zhongshan District, Taipei. Its main business is cat boarding, but the owner also runs a pour-over coffee bar and yoga classes in the space, and his own family of about five Bengal cats comes to work with him. The Bengals, a mother with her grown kittens and a couple of more aloof elders, are friendly and well groomed, and the owner introduces each one and will coax the shy ones out. Entry costs NT$250, which can be put towards a coffee, and there is no time limit. Shoes come off at the door. The owner speaks good Japanese. The building can be tricky to find, so check the directions on the cafe's social pages before visiting.
