紅玥緬因貓藝廊 Red Moon is a Maine Coon cat cafe on Chifeng Street in Datong District, Taipei, between Zhongshan and Shuanglian MRT stations. Guests sit on the floor at low tables so the cats can come right up to them. The resident group is led by more than ten large, calm Maine Coons, joined by two Ragdolls, a Devon Rex and a golden long-haired cat, and staff explain the house etiquette before you go in. Shoes come off at the door. There is a minimum spend of NT$440 per person plus a 10% service charge, paid up front, visits are usually around 90 minutes, and children must be at least six. The menu covers pasta and lasagne, rice dumplings, layered crepe cakes and drinks such as rose milk tea. Online booking is recommended, and the space can be hired for birthdays and fan events.
