Cat Cafe Nekojarashi Ichinomiya
Cat Cafe Nekojarashi is a cat cafe and kitten shop in Honmachi, central Ichinomiya, about 3 minutes on foot from Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station. The cats are not rescues: the owner breeds them, and they are raised from kittenhood to be handled, so visitors may pick them up, take photos and film them. Breeds include Bengals, Munchkins, Exotic Shorthairs, Scottish Folds, Russian Blues and Ragdolls. All of the cafe's cats are for sale, and kittens are sold on site. The cat room is on the second floor and is charged by the hour, with a day pass that allows re-entry; food and drinks are served in a cafe corner on the ground floor. Children under elementary school age must come with a guardian, and calling ahead is recommended. The building also has a hedgehog cafe, and there is no parking.
